𐂂 Bucksnort's Bar & Grill Damn Good Grub—Y’all Come Hungry!
We went to Bucksnort in Port Alberni for a 70th birthday on the patio—and left with full bellies and a very good reason to come back. 🤠 Inside, it’s got that cowboy-country vibe: warm wood, quirky décor and signs with a sense of humour. Even the trip to the bathroom comes with a little sass. “Women are always right”? Finally, directions I can get behind. 😉 Then there’s the food. Our table had burgers, fish and chips, calamari, chicken strips with Caesar salad, and a steak d

🔥 We Came. We Ate. We needed Napkins.- Comox Valley Ribfest
Our first Comox Valley Ribfest — Cumberland, BC 🔥 Somehow this was our first time at Comox Valley Ribfest in Cumberland, and apparently we’ve been missing out. 😂 The second we walked in, you could smell the BBQ. If we're driving that way, we're stopping. End of discussion.

🦪 Coastal Eats: The Clam Bucket
Some places are fancy. Some places are trendy. And then there's The Clam Bucket. It just serves really good food... and lots of it. If you're cruising through Port Alberni, do yourself a favour and pull over. The bright yellow door is basically yelling, "You're hungry. Get in here." Serving locals and visitors since 1996, this place has earned its reputation one plate at a time. Fish & chips, creamy clam chowder, fresh oysters, seafood platters, burgers, wraps... Good luck pi
